This is my first cruise — what makes packing different?

Cruise packing has unique challenges: formal dress codes (1-3 formal nights per week), banned items (standard power strips, irons, candles), embarkation day logistics (your luggage arrives hours after you board), cabin storage limits (tiny closets, minimal counter space), and multi-climate needs (air-conditioned ship + tropical ports + formal dining). A hotel packing list misses all of this.

What items do cruise ships actually ban?

Varies by line, but commonly banned: standard power strips and extension cords (fire hazard — only cruise-approved non-surge models allowed), irons and clothing steamers, hot plates, candles and incense, hard-sided coolers, and certain weapons/tools. Some lines also restrict drones, hoverboards, and full-size hairdryers. The Banned Items Guide checks your specific cruise line’s list so nothing gets confiscated at the security scan.

Do I really need formal clothes?

It depends on your cruise line and dining choice. Traditional lines (Holland America, Cunard) enforce formal dress codes in the main dining room. Contemporary lines (Norwegian, Royal Caribbean) have ‘freestyle’ options where formal is optional. The Formal Night Planner tells you exactly how many formal nights YOUR cruise has and what the minimum acceptable attire is — which is often less formal than you’d expect.

What are magnetic hooks and why does everyone recommend them?

Cruise cabin walls are metal. Magnetic hooks ($3-5 for a pack) stick to the walls and create instant hanging space for hats, bags, lanyards, wet swimsuits, and jackets. Cabins have very limited hooks and closet space. What should be in my embarkation day carry-on?

Your checked bags go to the cabin but don’t arrive for 4-6 hours after boarding. Your carry-on bag should have: swimsuit and cover-up (head straight to the pool), sunscreen, medications (never check these), phone charger, ship documents, one change of clothes, and a light jacket (ships are heavily air-conditioned). This lets you enjoy the first 6 hours instead of waiting in your cabin.

How do you ship packages?

Packages from our warehouse in China will be shipped by ePacket or EMS depending on the weight and size of the product. Packages shipped from our US warehouse are shipped through USPS.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes. We provide free shipping to over 200 countries around the world. However, there are some locations we are unable to ship to. If you happen to be located in one of those countries we will contact you.

What about customs?

We are not responsible for any custom fees once the items have shipped. By purchasing our products, you consent that one or more packages may be shipped to you and may get custom fees when they arrive to your country.

Do you provide tracking information?

Yes, you will receive an email once your order ships that contains your tracking information. If you haven’t received tracking info within 5 days, please contact us.

My tracking says “no information available at the moment”.

For some shipping companies, it takes 2-5 business days for the tracking information to update on the system. If your order was placed more than 5 business days ago and there is still no information on your tracking number, please contact us.

Will my items be sent in one package?

For logistical reasons, items in the same purchase will sometimes be sent in separate packages, even if you've specified combined shipping.

Refunds & Returns

Order cancellation

All orders can be cancelled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be cancelled.

Refunds

Your satisfaction is our #1 priority. Therefore, you can request a refund or reshipment for ordered products if:

Physical products:

  • If you did not receive the product within the guaranteed time( 45 days not including 2-5 day processing) you can request a refund or a reshipment.
  • If you received the wrong item you can request a refund or a reshipment.
  • If you do not want the product you’ve received you may request a refund but you must return the item at your expense and the item must be unused.

We do not issue the refund if:

  • Your order did not arrive due to factors within your control (i.e. providing the wrong shipping address)
  • Your order did not arrive due to exceptional circumstances outside the control of product-digital (i.e. not cleared by customs, delayed by a natural disaster).

*You can submit refund requests within 15 days after the guaranteed period for delivery (45 days) has expired. You can do it by sending a message on Contact Us page

If you are approved for a refund, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 14 days.

Exchanges

If for any reason you would like to exchange your product, perhaps for a different size in clothing. You must contact us first and we will guide you through the steps.

Please do not send your purchase back to us unless we authorise you to do so.

Digital products:

Due to the nature of digital goods, all sales are considered final and non-refundable once the product has been downloaded or accessed.

If you experience any issues with your purchase – such as file errors, access problems, or missing content – please reach out to our contact us form. We’ll do our best to resolve the issue quickly and ensure you receive everything as promised.

Exceptions (At Our Discretion)

We may consider a refund in limited cases, such as:

  • A file was corrupted or incomplete, and a replacement cannot be provided
  • Accidental duplicate purchases
  • Technical problems preventing access that cannot be resolved
