When should I start talking about puberty?

Ages 7-8 is ideal for foundation-level conversations (‘bodies change as they grow’). By 9-10: specific preparation for what’s coming. The reason: some girls start puberty as early as 8, some boys by 9-10. If you wait until 12, you may be explaining something they’ve already experienced alone and confused. Early doesn’t mean graphic — it means age-appropriate preparation. ‘Your body will change’ at age 8 is very different from detailed period management at age 8.

Should the same-gender parent do the talking?

Ideally both parents contribute, regardless of gender match. A dad talking to his daughter about periods normalizes it (it’s not a ‘women’s secret’). Order cancellation

All orders can be cancelled until they are shipped. If your order has been paid and you need to make a change or cancel an order, you must contact us within 12 hours. Once the packaging and shipping process has started, it can no longer be cancelled.
